Heavy application of lipstick or the use of a cheap brand of lipstick turns the lips dark. Fresh air, vitamins and iron are required for maintaining red lips. Also keep them free from lipstick as much as possible and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. Also, take carrot and orange juice. Every day before going to bed massage your lips with a few drops each of glycerine, lime juice and honey.
